About GalactiCats

The Book/Author

Phillip Wolf began writing GalactiCats in the mid-1990s.  But life happened, and he filed the manuscript with other unfinished stories. Wolf's idea for GalactiCats was about cats in space on a mission to stop two villains from stealing their planet's cat litter to achieve galactic domination. However, other dangers would emerge during their mission, spawning new stories.

Thirty-two years later, Wolf cleaned out the old filing cabinet and revisited his unfinished story, added new characters based on the real pets he adopted over the years, and completed Volume One of the series.

Pickles and Roaches

PICKLES, a cyborg unicorn, is a striking fusion of mythical grace and advanced technology. Her spiral horn houses a quantum computer, glowing with a pulsing light. Sleek chrome cybernetics cover roughly 60% of her body, seamlessly merging with her pearlescent white coat. Her left eye is entirely mechanical, featuring multiple scanning capabilities. She moves with an unsettling combination of equine fluidity and mechanical precision.

ROACHES, a tiny mechanical roach roughly the size of a thumb, is constructed from polished titanium alloy with copper wire accents. His compound eyes glow a soft yellow when he processes information. Six articulated legs allow for precise movement across any surface, and his antennae serve as multi-purpose scanning devices.

Key Planets

The GalactiCats live on WHISKERS-0U812, nestled within the Cat's Eye Galaxy. Its position in the galaxy provides strategic proximity to planets NOT-4-CELL and WARTHOLE, making it a central hub for operations.

Orbiting WHISKERS-0U812 is its moon, WHISKERS-IOU. The moon serves as a hidden arsenal, storing advanced weaponry crucial for the defense of the GalactiCats' home planet.

Planet NOT-4-CELL is covered in dense forests. The trees hold deep roots that tap into the planet's rich energy reserves, making NOT-4-CELL a vital resource for those seeking power.

Planet SOUR-PUSS is home to Pickles and Roaches. The planet is situated within the Sigma Orion Galaxy, a region known for its technological advancements. The planet is inhabited by cyborgs that mimic Earthly creatures. Its landscape is a blend of industrial complexes and artificial habitats designed to support its unique inhabitants.

Planet WARTHOLE is home to Professor Toad Croak. The planet's surface is characterized by its uneven, wart-like terrain and is enveloped in a distinctive lime-green haze that permeates the atmosphere.
